Gulls
At present, pages are limited to the 9 species of Gulls that nest in the US EEZ of the Western Arctic.
Gulls occur virtually world-wide and represent a complex species group of birds. Many species are known to follow directly human activities, e.g. settlements and fisheries, and some have experienced range explosions. However, some endemic ones show serious declines, e.g. the Ivory Gull of the Arctic. Gulls usually feed on a wide range of food items, and some species are migratory, wintering as far south as the Sea of Okhotsk or even South Africa.
