Nuculana radiata (Krause, 1885)
A benthic bivalve mollusk of arctic seas that is close to Pacific.
Size

Length to 34 mm. Adults usually 20-25 mm.
Color
- Periostracum light brown to dark brown, with thin radial sculpture on surface.
- Inside – white.
Habitat & Distribution
- Infaunal mainly.
- On silty sediments.
- Sublitoral mainly.
- Boreal-arctic pacific species.
Feeding
- Deposit feeder.
Life cycle
- Dioecious (?).
- Development without pelagic larvae (?).
